There are many, many days in which I’m very happy that we live in this information heavy world. Because of things like, oh, THE INTERNET! shows that I loved have made comebacks the likes of which have never been seen!
Family Guy was dug out of its grave and given some voodoo magic and brought back to life in the form of a Juggernaut! Now Seth MacFarlane’s work makes up %75 of the Sunday Night programming block.
Now, comes word from Variety, that due to the DVD sales of the 4 DVD movie-sodes, FUTURAMA is coming back!
From the wording on the article, it looks like its not going to be in DVD form either, but 26 straight, honest to Xenu episodes that wont be boggled down by the MOVIE format that plagued the DVD’s.
Which is fantastic as the show got shit canned right as they had just reached their peak! Not only that, but the un-defined DVD’s wont be the final word on this universe that many people, including myself, love dearly!
The show is expected to start airing on Comedy Central in 2010. My DVR will be ready.
