You know, I was having a so so day.. Work was long, it was hot out, and I’m broke till pay day. I honestly didn’t think that my day could look up.
Then, I find out that Sean Penn has BACKED OUT of the Farrelly Bro’s take on THE THREE STOOGES!
Penn was set to play Larry, the middle man of the group!
The Farrelly Brothers, who have written the film and are set to direct, must now choose to either wait for Penn, and risk loosing Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro or recast and move forward. With a project like this, I see recasting in the near future!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Penn is taking time off to spend with his family. I say STAY!
I make it no secret: I FUCKING HATE SEAN PENN! If there was an academy award for most overrated actor living today, Penn takes the life time achievement award. The man is a shitball actor in just about everything he dose, from Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, to going full retard in I Am Sam. The only thing that I remotely liked him in was in Oliver Stone’s U Turn, and that was more or less due to the ensemble cast of loons!.
I hope that this blowhard, who not only cost Bill Murray his Oscar for his whiny over the top performance in Mystic River, but also took the award from the far more deserving Mickey Rourke who turn in a far stronger performance than his portrayal of Harvey Milk in the equally blow hardy MILK, stays away for a long, long while.
