Don’t you hate it when there’s stuff in trailers that isn’t in the film…
I know I do! So if you were one of the legion that earlier this year that salivating at the mear mention of JJ Abrams reboot/re-imagining of STAR TREK, then you dissected every bit of footage that came out before hand. And if you did, you might of noticed a few dialog scenes involving Nero, and if you were REALLY keen viewer, you would of seen that in a very brief clip in one of the trailers, you saw some fuckin Klingon’s!
Now, I know what you’re saying, “THERE WERNT NO DAMN KLINGONS IN STAR TREK!” Well, yes and no.
Seems that JJ was more keen on keeping the story focused on Kirk and Spock in the film, that meant that the Nero stuff had to take a back seat. So, Nero got the scissors on the editing room floor. 15 years ago, that would of meant that we the public would of never have seen it. But thankfully, we live in a day and age of the Internet and DVD, and every thing gets seen!!!!
While the DVD is still a few weeks away, the good folks at SPIKE TV have given the public a nice look at what could of been. So if you cant wait till the DVD/ Blu-ray comes out, give your eyes a little cock tease and gander at Nero taking on some bad ass Klingon’s!

Its a shame that this didn’t make it in the final cut. I thought that Nero was highly under used as a villain in the film, and just a little touch like this would of been nice.
