Trailer: PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME

Behold the most expensive Video Game movie EVER! I’m still shocked that this has been made into a movie of this magnitude.

Based on the video game Prince of Persia:  Sands of Time-  The film looks like they’re going for that full PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN look.  Which is fine.  The game was fun, and leave it to Jerry Bruckheimer to produce a film that’s fun and historically inaccurate.  I mean, they got Donnie Darko playing a Persian..  But then again, its Hollywood, go figure.

Though this is basically a teaser, it seems that they incorporated something of the game. I don’t see a lot of the cool Parkour stuff that you could do in said game in this trailer, but then again it is a teaser.  Who knows, the general public (for once) might get an actual GOOD movie based on a video game that ISN’T a guilty pleasure! (cough *MORTALKOMBAT* cough).

    Prince of Persia is definitely one of the best movies this year.~`-
