Wanna know why Avatar cost $300 million to make? Let’s break it down for you…
Discovery News did 4 small segments on James Cameron’s Avatar touching on the different aspects that help make/ sell the film to audiences worldwide- emotion, environment, depth and experience. I really enjoyed these shorts because it helped give me the information that I had been craving for weeks now to help explain, “How did they do that?”. I am a huge DVD Special Features guy. I eat all that stuff up and am left wanting seconds. Avatar is a DVD I cannot wait to own only because I know there will be more in-depth videos that cover these topics. Whether you like the film or not, you can’t help but acknowledge the fact that they did take film making to the next level here. The last time this happen was when George “ToyBoy” Lucas went “Digital” with Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Things like this make me very happy to be alive during a time where technology is evolving so fast. It’s great to see where we were versus where we are today. Enough of me talking, enjoy the Avatar behind the scenes segments.
