But those Koala loving bastards are the only ones that get to see it.
In what seems like an eon ago, Marvel announced that they’re were making a Black Panther cartoon for BET. Seemed bout right. BET isn’t exactly a children’s place so that meant the show would be geared a little more towards the older generation. But, for the longest time, there hasn’t been any news on whats going on with the show. Until now.
Apparently the whole damn thing is airing in Australia, (much like those moose lovers in Canada got Wolverine and the X-Men before us!). While the Internet has provided many miracles, it apparently can’t provide someone to upload the show to some sort of international outlet for others to see it. But at least someone has uploaded the opening to the show. I must say, it looks awesome!

Love that beat for the opening too!
I love the fact that they’re using the current Panther storyline, and have incorporated Storm into the mix.
Djimon Hounsou voices Black Panther/T’Challa. Stan Lee provides the voice of General Wallace, JB Blanc voices The Black Knight and Batroc, Kerry Washington voices Princess Shuri, and Jill Scott provides the voice of Storm.
God only knows when it’ll air here stateside, but until then, I guess you can enjoy that sweet opening.
Details here.
