I’m happy to report that the lastest buzz for my movie of the year is in and it is good if your a Na’vi fan! News Corp. is in very early talks with James Cameron about a possible “Avatar” sequel. When Asked about potential “Avatar” sequels, chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch said on his quarterly earnings call Tuesday that the conglomerate is in “very early talks about it.” Director James Cameron “has ideas” for a sequel, he said, adding: “We will be pushing for one.”
But they caution don’t hold your breath seeing as it won’t be in the works for awhile but I think we can wait. Also in news A DVD release of “Avatar” is due out before the end of the financial year on June 30th, but will not be a 3D DVD release due to insufficient technology. A proper 3D disc release will likely take place later on. For me I’m ok with this but will I spend the money to get a 3D copy of this movie… heck yes! even if I have to watch it on my 19 inch computer monitor heheh. But with plans for another Avatar in the works I really can’t wait see what’s next and really can’t wait to see if we return to Pandora or to one of its other moons, there’s a thought. Rumors have also stated that Actress (and my favorite babe) Zoe Saldana is signed for more movies, lets see what happens and remember I’ll keep you posted later Na’vi fans!
