Now we get a new batch of horror goodness with the 1st original movies done by Horrorfest.Lionsgate and SyFy are teaming up to help produce these new features.
As per The Hollywood Reporter the first details on two of the After Dark Original series have just slipped out …
The first film is Steven C. Miller’s Scream of the Banshee, starring Lauren Holly (“NCIS”) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens), which is now in post-production and tells the tale of a professor who releases a creature with a bone-splitting scream.
This is the only still available due to the hush hush aspect of the new stories coming up.
Details for the second film, 51, are pretty sparse, it centers upon a group of reporters who are allowed access to a top-secret Air Force base that is housing aliens.
All eight Originals will be released in the third quarter of 2010 with a new and innovative marketing and release strategy. Additionally, the second set of Originals has already been greenlit and will start production in July, 2010.
