Yes, it appears Disney is so confident in their upcoming Tron sequel that they are working out a story to round it out into a full trilogy. Set for a December release, Tron Legacy figures to be a hit, and it’s not like Disney to fail to capatilize on such momentum.
Details are sketchy at this time, but Legacy writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (no, not the Beastie Boy!) have been commissioned to write a proposed third Tron film. Deals with Legacy director Joseph Kosinski and the film’s stars are not set, but apparently the Legacy contracts contained options for another, which is pretty much standard practice in this day and age.
We here at the Realm are more or less pretty enthusiastic about Legacy, and if it pans out like we hope it will, a third adventure in the world of Tron should be bitchin’. You can read the full article by clicking here.
