Aliens be attacking L.A.
The one thing I was always curious about that I missed at Comic Con was Skyline. There was a considerable push for it, but I knew 2 things about it. Jack and shit. Well, in the days following, I learned that it’s an indy film by the Strause Bros, who gave us AvP: Requiem. Barring that pile of crap, this actually looks interesting. I know at Comic Con that there was more footage shown, including glimpse of giant aliens and jets fighting alien fighters. But the idea of mass abduction, done on an indy budget, appeals to me.

What I really like is just the idea that two guys (who happen to have an FX company) said fuck it to the system and made their own big budget looking film, akin to Matthew Vaughn with Kick Ass.
Skyline opens in November. Not that long of a wait.
