Keep slappin’ dat bass!
Veteran rockers Rush are on tour again this summer, supporting a new greatest hits, and creating buzz for their next studio album, due by the end of the year. While they have a reputation as being a very cerebral band due to their complex music and thought-provoking lyrics, most true Rush fans know that the Canadian power trio are also big comedy fans.
After appearing in the seminal bromance I Love You Man last year, and releasing their own riveting documentary Beyond The Lighted Stage last month, Rush are riding another wave of popularity. Having created special videos to be played on big screens at their live shows for years, the current tour features a closing video, which is played after the show as the fans file out of the venue. This video is a sequel of sorts to I Love You Man, with Paul Rudd and Jason Segal reprising their roles from the film. It seems the boys have secured backstage passes, and are hanging out in Rush’s dressing room when hilarity ensues. Enjoy the video below – apologies for the bootleg nature of the clip, but it has not been officially released.
