This girl has been getting a lot of work lately.
It was announced recently that Chloe Moretz, of Kick-Ass, (500) Days of Summer, and Let Me In fame, has been cast to star in Universal Studios’ adaptation of the famous Dark Horse comic book character, Emily the Strange.
Emily creator, Rob Reger, who is also the executive producer of this project, had this to about the casting:
“When I first met Chloe I knew I found my Emily. She really identifies and understands the character, and has what it takes to bring her to life.”
We couldn’t think of anyone better to play the deliciousy dark and sarcastic goth girl. This actress is slowly but surely becoming a house hold name for nerd fans alike out there. I look forward to seeing some more of her future work. Emily the Strange has always been a favorite of mine growing up and you can bet your sweet ass I will be there to see Ms. Moretz get in touch with her vampy side, no pun intended, when this flick hits the cinemas.
