Now we finally get a peek of this new rendition of our beloved Edgar Allan Poe.
Why the studios went with John Cusack instead of Jeffrey Combs is beyond me. But again I am a bit biased (Combs is the definitive Poe for horror fans).
V FOR VENDETTA’s James McTeigue is currently lensing THE RAVEN, and today the first pic of 1408’s John Cusack as the 18th century scribe has hit the web.
Gawker nabbed this image from the set of THE RAVEN, in which Edgar Allan Poe teams up with a detective (Luke Evans) to catch a serial killer who has kidnapped Poe’s fiancée and gone on a murder spree that mimics the author’s work.
