Anyone worried about Emma Stone looking the part of Gwen Stacy can breathe easy.
After rumors that the beautiful redhead was going to play the main Spider-Man love interest, Mary Jane Watson, many fans were surprised to learn that she had actually been cast as Spidey’s first love, Gwen Stacy. Even more shocking was the fact that famously auburn-haired Stone is a natural blonde.
Despite that fact, many fans did not feel Emma could look the part even though many agree her past work qualifies her to play the spunky and attractive Stacy. As it gets closer to filming, the transition into the character begins and Stone debuted her new hair at an event in Hollywood on Sunday which you can check out below.
