A healthy douse of Statham.
January is usually a month of suckage when it comes to films. The dump month as it’s known. (it’s brother, September, feels this bite just as hard) This year, more than the last, seems to have an aura of less suck around it. This weekend, Season of the Witch opens. Sure, not art, but a good schlocky Nic Cage film usually provides it’s weight in gold of entertainment. Next week is Green Hornet which is getting great buzz. Finally, there’s Jason Statham’s latest opus, a remake to a Charles Bronson classic, The Mechanic. That alone not worth it for ya. Well you got a lot of gull….. But to change your mind, here’s a sweet Red Band trailer, WITH PARTIAL NUDITY! And a lot of people being thrown through stuff, so you know the movie is good.
