The hit soundtrack of last year will get a redressing this year.
Fans of Daft Punk’s hit soundtrack/score album for Tron: Legacy can rejoice that more music is coming out of the project in the form of remixes. According to Disney Dreaming, Walt Disney Records has Tweeted a hint about an upcoming release in that vein:
Hello programs. This message is to let you know that Tron: Legacy Reconfigured remix album is coming. DJs/artists to be announced. x01100x
So it appears that other artists and DJs will be brought in to give fresh spins to the material. I, for one, have predicted that a more ‘deluxe’ edition of the album will eventually see release, compiling the original album, plus all of the various bonus tracks exclusive to certain retailers. I still feel that will happen eventually, but it looks like Disney has found another way to squeeze some more dough out of the project in the mean time.
