Stand back people. Variety has learned who the great Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play in The Dark Knight Rises. He will play……… wait for it…………
Alberto Falcone
Yes, the son of Carmine Falcone, played by Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins. Alberto, in the comic series, is a villain in his own right. He’s known as the Holiday Killer. A serial murderer who killed on holidays. Though, it’s safe to assume that this character tidbit won’t be featured in the film, and Alberto will be taking the reigns of his father’s empire from the first film. Thus, locking this film closer to Begins than Knight.
But that’s not all!
Juno Temple, who’ll be appearing in the upcoming Three Musketeers film by Paul WS Anderson, is being eyed for a part as well. The charecter is just being described as a street smart Gotham Girl. Knowing that Barbra Gorden is still a wee child in the contiunity, could Temple be up for the part of Stephanie Brown? The former in-continuity female Robin and current Bat Girl. Would be an interesting take if true.
