Now, ride the pig.
I couldn’t let this week go by without mentioning that it’s the tenth anniversary of one of the best animated shows of all time. Yes, ten years ago, this week, Invader Zim first aired on Nickelodeon. Created by comic artist Jhonen Vasquez, the show was a five different forms of insanity that nothing short of genius. The show was ultimately shit canned by Nick before it could finish it’s story. Since it debuted all those ten years ago, Zim has gathered a rather large following. Hell, Gir merchandise still sells to this day in Hot Topic! Last weekend was the first ever InvaderCON, a convention dedicated to everything Invader Zim.
So I’ll leave you with some clips to enjoy.
