Hasbro’s bringing your childhood back, one show at a time.
The Hub recently announced that it will begin airing episodes of the classic animation series Jem And The Holograms and Conan The Adventurer, a pair of Sunbow-produced shows that are currently a part of Hasbro’s extended library of programming. Animation Magazine says that Jem will air weekdays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 10am, beginning May 31st – the same day episodes of Conan will begin, airing at 7am weekdays, and 6am Saturdays.
To kick off Jem, The Hub is airing the first six episodes in a mini-marathon on May 28th from 2pm-5pm. The series was once partially available on DVD, but was not completed, and is currently out of print. With the return of the original series to the airwaves, as well as a film in the works, Shout! Factory – the company that brought us new DVD editions of the classic Hasbro shows Transformers and G.I. Joe – is currently working on making the series available soon.
