Now, this, looks like a movie.
Before I start, for some god awful reason, both Paramount and Warner’s are releasing these “3D” trailers that will be on Pirates today. Problem is, you can’t see 3D on a computer screen. Actually, these aren’t even in 3D to begin with. I think that they just want to sound fancy and up sell $4 extra bucks to us to see these films in 3D to raise that box office.
Any hoo. Yes, here’s the newest, and possibly last Green Lantern trailer. It’s a nice set up trailer, explaining the origins of the Lanterns and the Parallax. Hell, we even see more of that Yellow Energy battery too! Check it out below.
I’ll say this. I’m digging Green Lantern more and more. Though, I’m figuring its’ become a huge pain in the ass for all those involved. Martin Campbell has already given the heads up that he wont be returning in this interview with Total Film.
Inevitably, chat turns to the possibility of follow-ups. Campbell admits it will be nice to have all the backstory and complicated rules of the character already taken care of. “This film has become the instruction manual if they do any further ones. It’s what we call pipe laying,” he says. Not that he has plans to return for a sequel – like Bond, he loves ‘em and leaves ‘em.
Green Lantern opens on June 17th
