Kermit and Amy Adams in the same movie! It’s heaven.
If you went out and caught Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides this weekend, then you might have been surprised by a brand new Muppets teaser trailer. The moment I saw Amy Adams and Jason Segel I knew what it was. However, hearing the rest of theater’s reaction when the big reveal came is what made this a great trailer. Add to that the fact that Segel also wrote this film. The man’s quite funny, and apparently, a HUGE Muppets fan. You need no better proof than the Dracula puppet play in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Word is to expect this film to be in the same style of the original Muppets films from the 70′s and 80′s, and less of the post Muppet Christmas Carol films.
