And it all ties in with another Marvel film
Spoiler: CAPTAIN AMERICA THE FIRST AVENGER Cosmic Cube reveal
Some people have complained about the cross pollinating of the Marvel films. I say poppycock to them. I love that all of these films are intertwined like a Kevin Smith film. The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man and Thorall having minor touches on them that, if keenly aware, enriching the stories they tell. Captain Americawill be no less. Already there was that storyboard leak that showed some pre established Marvel movie-verse cross over in Cap, but this one is a bit of a biggie.
CBMgot scans of the upcoming Captain America the First Avenger trading cards. While most are just gratuitous shots form the film, one of them gives away a decent spoiler. We see in this pic below, where the Red Skull grabs the Cosmic Cube from.
That’s right, a Viking chamber. Which connects it to Thor. Meaning in the Marvel Movie-verse, the Cube is one of Odin’s treasures, possibly obtained from a previous battle. Which would give good explanation to how Loki will fit in as the baddie of the Avengers. All very exciting stuff if you ask me. We’ll know all in three weeks when Captain America the First Avenger opens.
