Bones is dishing out the LAW!
I’m one of four people on the face of the Earth that actually likes the original Judge Dredd film. I enjoy far more than the other Stallone future film, Demolition Man. It’s just so damn wacky and fun, with that odd 90′s charm to it. Still, much like many in the bizzaro world that was 90′s comic book movies, it wasn’t allot like the source material. That said, there’s an independent Judge Dredd film being produced right now. One of the most under appreciated actors working today, Karl Urban, is playing Dredd. And Bleeding Cool got this really bad ass promo pic of Urban in the outfit.
Bad ass. The only complaint I can muster is that Urban’s head looks small in the helmet. Other than that, count me in. This newJudge Dredd has been promised to hue closer to the gritty violent nature of the 2000 AD book. No word on release date, but we’ll let you know when we find out.
