The new film from @ThatKevinSmith
Kevin Smith’s great experiment continues. Today he released the official trailer to Red State. It gives you a good idea of the tone and story of the film. Safe to say, people who have seen this are right. This definitely isn’t a Kevin Smith looking film.

Besides the new trailer, there’s the new poster (above) that will probably be the DVD cover when Lionsgate releases the film on DVD sometime later this year. Now, if you want to see the film sooner than later, and you live close to L.A, Red State will be having an Academy run at the New Beverly Cinema. It’l screen twice a night for about a week, with all but two shows featuring a Q& A with Smith himself afterwards. Tickets are only $20 a pop. But if you can’t get out to L.A. and the New Beverly, Labor Day weekend the film will go on Video On Demand. After that, it’ll hit theaters in October.

On a side note, if you’re not listening to his S.I.R. Network, you’re missing out on Gold! GOLD I say!
