Weekend DARK KNIGHT RISES round up

Warning: SPOILERS INSIDE!

The flood gate of Dark Knight Rises material keep pouring in.  The sever lack of closed set security for a film like this is just.. mind boggling.  Though, one Kevin Smith has a conspiracy theory that all of this is a diversion of some sort to possibly throw off some bigger reveal in the film.  Many are starting to agree.  It would make sense, as Nolan kept a massive lid on the filming of Dark Knight.  I believe the only major thing to hit the net was the Tumbler filming in Chicago.

In the following clip below, we can see the filming of the fight scene, pulled punches and all, between Batman and Bane.

Interesting.  Whats even more interesting is this clip of Bane making some sort of speech at a Gotham football game.  Now the sound is kinda crappy, and will probably be fixed in post, but we definitely see that Bane ain’t gonna have that Spanish accent of his.

I do like the pun team name Gotham Rouges though.

Finally.  A huge possible spoiler.  So don’t read on if you don’t want to know.

Apparently Lucius Fox played by Morgan Freeman in all three Batman movies by Christopher Nolan meets his end in TDKR. Word is that he is murdered but by whom seems to be little more than guesswork, some saying Bane more feeling that it will be Marion Cotillard’s character Miranda Tate(believed to be Talia Al Ghul). My source didn’t mention any of that, just that he is killed and he reckons it is a prelude to the Batman/Bane scrap on the steps we have seen so much footage of.

If shit is really getting serious in this film, I can see Nolan doing something like this.  Lucius has been given a bigger role in the film than the comic or TV versions, and if it is done the way it’s being said above?  Makes sense.  Then again, it’s still a rumor.  So take it as such until proven as anything else.
