That’s right – John McLean himself may end up portraying Joe Colton in next summer’s G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Colton was the founder of the legendary strike force – at least, as far as the 1980s Marvel Comics are concerned. And if Larry Hama says so, it’s so.
If cast, Willis – who last starred in Red, and has new films Cold Light Of Day and Looper in production – would join franchise newcomers Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Stephen Martines, Joseph Mazzello, Ray Stevenson, and RZA, along with alumni Channing Tatum, Lee Byung-hun, and Ray Park. John M. Chu is set to direct the Lorenzo DiBonaventura production.
