…and declare their first year a success! It’s no secret that Chris & I had an incredibly good time at the first ever Power-Con/ ThunderCon celebrating the He-Man (MOTU), She-Ra and Thundercats fandom. It was so good especially for being the first year of the show that Chris and I could not stop marveling at everything the show had to offer (as you will hear in the podcast we recorded last night). We assummed that based on what we saw the show went well enough that we would see the return of Power-Con/ ThunderCon in 2012. I was in the process of trying to set up an interview with the show organizer to discuss (among other things) that very topic. Then all of a sudden 5 minutes ago the official Power-Con/ ThunderCon website was updates with the following:
And what about the 2012 show? We are already planning it! We should have preliminary info near the end of this year. Keep close watch for updates via this site, Twitter or Facebook. You’re not going to want to miss out on the 2012 show! In the world of He-Man and She-Ra, we have the 30th anniversary of the vintage toy line, the 25th anniversary of the 1987 MOTU movie, the 25th anniversary of the Power Tour, the 10th anniversary of the 200x toy line and much more! And ThunderCats fans be prepared. You’ll hear the roar as we amp up ThunderCon with more guests and features including a celebration of the new cartoon and toyline!
