Yeah..
It’s bull shit. A site by the name of ImfomusKidd is claming that the Godzilla design above is pretty much what we’ll be seeing in Gareth Edwards‘ Godzilla film. If and when Legendary gets off their butts and finally gives us some solid info on it. However, as person with a grand knowledge on all things Godzilla, that piece above is actually nothing more than an art project done years ago. It’s been sitting on Deviantart for a while. While cool, it is not Legendary’s Godzilla.
I honestly wish we would get something on Godzilla soon. The heads of Legendary said back at Comic Con to expect something soon, and it’s gong on three months now. Nothing. This worries me. Pacific Rim is currently going into production with Guillermo Del Toro at the helm, and Gareth Edwards is trying to do some grand space opera too. I’m hoping Godzilla isn’t taking a back seat to any of this. Much like my hopes for a Battle Angel film by James Cameron have been dashed by the Avatar sequels.
But for the record. that is not the new American Godzilla design. Sadly.
