If you had $625,000, that is. That’s how much the camera, which George Lucas used to shoot the original 1977 Star Wars film, fetched at auction recently. A Panavision PSR 35mm workhorse was recently restored, and is currently in full working order. It was put on auction, along with a host of accesories, as a part of a showcase of Debbie Reynolds memorabilia. How Princess Leias’ mom got ahold of the damn thing is anyone’s guess.
