Finally! The trailer for one of my most antispipated films of 2012 is here. Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. As you can tell, I’m a massive Wes Anderson fan. It’s almost sickening at some points. But goddamn it, the man’s films just have this magical touch to them that no one else in Hollywood seems to have today. Case in point, this trailer:
I feel like I just did an eight ball of angel feathers. Actual angel feathers. Moonrise Kingdom has a feeling of Rushmore more than say, Life Aquatic. Far smaller and more personal. Add the cast of Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, Fraces McDormand, Edward Norton and living legend Bill Murray, how can you NOT want to see this.
Mind you that this comes out on May 25th, the same day as Men In Black 3. But I’ll be in the theater for this over MIB 3 opening weekend.
