Being the fan of Timur Bekmambetov that I am, I have felt no want to for Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Perhaps it’s due to the lack of real publicity for it. Fox, who’s releasing the picture, seems to have pushed this to the side a bit. Why? Who knows. Maybe it’s due to the content? Maybe even though Wanted was a hit, there wasn’t a lot of confidance in it befor it debuted? Timur has a very distinctive style of filmmaking that I do like, and I’m curious as a cat on crack as to how it’s going to translate to Honest Abe swinging an ax at vampires.
Well, as far as marketing goes, Fox is finally getting on the ball with things. This new poster debuted today, and well, it clearly gets it’s point across.
Very minimilsitic, but hey, it works. On that note, Shock till You Drop has these new images from the film. Oddly enough, all lacking in vampires. I do find it funny that we’re getting two Abe Lincoln films this year. Both kinda track the mans life, but both are clearly the polar opposite of each other.
