To brighten a dull day with clouds of AWESOME
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is one of those films that I discovered on DVD. Everyone proclaimed it’s greatness during it’s run in the fall of 2009. When I finally got around to watching the film, INSTANTLY went nuts for it. It was the first non Pixar animated film that I had seen in years to wow and charm the ever loving shit out of me. Like a great many films I discovered, I whored Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs around, to spread the love.
$243 million box office world wide later, the films has an abundant fan base. So much that Megasteakman on Youtube recreated the film, in live action, in a minute. The results:
