At last!
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is something special. Greats like Jimmy Stewart, Clint Eastwood, and Godzilla have star literately cementing their stance in the entertainment industry on Hollywood Blvd. Yet, amongst these titans, there was a glaring omission:
Adam West.
The first man to bring Batman to prominence in mainstream media, the mayor of Quahog, didn’t have one. One would think that if fucking Ryan Seacrest can get a star, shouldn’t Batman?
Well, Ralph Garman of KROQ and Hollywood Babble On thought so. He has spent the last five years trying desperately to get West a star on the walk. This last Thursday, his efforts paid off. In the two videos below, you can watch the ceremony of Adam West receiving his star. Garman and Seth MacFarlane both spoke, reminding the world of West’s greatness.
