For those fans of the very scary Paranormal Activity series, you know there is no way in hell they can’t just leave off with 3 especially since we all know that episode 2 left us with so many unanswered questions. Never fear though,news out of Paramount has confirmed that crews are currently working on PA4. But, that’s not the big news. The big news is that there is a Latin flavored offshoot in the works as well.
This project which is not being labeled a sequel, re-boot or even a spin off but as a “Cousin” to the series will reunite producers Jason Blum and Oren Peli with Christopher Landon, the writer of the second and third installments of the Paranormal movies.
This movie will be Latin themed and will star an all Latin cast. It will also tackle Catholic Based Mythology which is prevalent in the Hispanic culture. Here’s the twist though, it will NOT be in Spanish. The aim is to micro-budget this movie and have it filmed within the next couple of months and have it ready for release by early January 2013.
