Yes, THAT Lobo.
In another attempt to get one of their comic properties off the ground, Warner Bros has hired Brad Payton, director of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, to write and direct Lobo for them. That’s all that’s being reported at the moment.
Thing is, how dose one do Lobo? He’s pretty much DC’s version of Deadpool. So wrapped in self parody that it’ll be tricky to get the character down right. If done tongue in cheek with just s dash of mature content like Jim Carry’s The Mask, I think Lobo can brought to the big screen perfectly. But who the hell do you get to play the Main Man?
I would like to throw my nod for Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Lobo. If anyone cares..
