See, the internet was right.
So, ever since Chronicle came out, it’s director Josh Tank has been linked to reboot The Fantastic Four for Fox. When ever he’s been asked, he’s always said “huh?”. Basically, he didn’t know where the rumors came from. But, the people who originally reported the story were persistent.
Seems that they were right.
When talking to Tom Rothman, head of Fox, he let the word out that Tank is indeed developing a new Fantastic Four for the studio.
Josh Trank who did Chronicle, I think this has been reported, is gonna come on and work on a take, or a vision, that he has for it, so we’re very excited about that.
That’s what Rothman told Collider. Now, that doesn’t mean he’s directing. Tank is currently attached to both Venom and The Red Star, both at separate studios. Chronicle did very well, and it was an excellent film over all, so Tank is in a bit of demand, But if he dose decide to direct The Fantastic Four, I have a good feeling he’ll do the series right. And this is coming from a guy who overall liked BOTH of the original films.
