Avengers is still tearing up the box office, but Marvel says “NAY!’ That is not enough. There is more Marvel to be had. Case in point: Thor 2. It’s in the pre-production stages at the moment, with most of the cast coming back. But one thing we know is that Loki will not be the main bad guy. Why? He’s done that job for two films now, give someone else a chance.
And who’s getting that chance?
Mads Mikkelsen.
Who? He’s probably best known as the nemesis of James Bond in Casino Royale. No word yet on who he’ll play, and honestly, I can’t think of who out of Thor’s wacky roster of villains Mikkelsen would be good for.
Thor 2 is being directed Alan Taylor and is set to bow November 15th, 2013
