Ok, so here’s the new trailer for Dredd, the reboot of Judge Dredd. Instead of Sly Stallone, it’s Karl Urban, which, looking from this trailer, isn’t a bad choice. Now here’s the thing. This is the shitty version of the trailer with the G4 stamp on it, so if you can get past that, enjoy. But the other thing, the plot of this new Dredd film is very, VERY much like that of Raid Redemption. Small group of cops moving up a slum to kill a drug lord. That’s going to be a bit of a distraction for me. Other than that, this movie looks neat. It’s not as futuristic as the original film, but it’s on a much smaller budget. As long as Urban keeps his helmet on, I’ll be happy.
