2 weeks people!
Comic Con is right around the corner, and the site has released the schedule for Preview Night and Thusday. If you’re lucky enough to be attending Preview Night, you’ll literally be able to preview a slew of upcoming shows including Bad Robot/ Jon Favreau’s Revolution, CW’s Arrow and NBC’s The Following.
Thursday, official day one of the show, has the following lined up for Hall H:
Twilight Breaking Dawn pt 2, Expendables 2, and a large Disney panel that includes Wreak it Ralph, Frankenweenie and Oz the Great and Powerful.
That’s all fine and dandy. Expendables 2 is out literally 3 weeks after Con ends, the good thing is that Twilight is the first panel up so that bullshit can get done and out the way (last year too people!) The Disney Panel is really the one thing with anything worth of value.
Ballroom 20 has Wilfred, Beauty and the Beast and a few other bits. The Indigo Ballroom has Hotel Transylvania with Genndy Tartakovsky in attendance. I’ll probably be attending that panel.
Now, if you look past all the movie/tv stuff, there’s a plethora of awesome panels happening. The Power Rangers 20th anniversary panel should be fun. The Batman Night of Owls should be looked at. Street Fighter is celebrating 25 years at Comic Con. Rifftrax will be at Con this year providing their brand of humor, and if you haven’t seen it yet. Image Comic’s documentary will be on display as well as Comic Con Episode 4 A Fan’s Hope if you haven’t caught it yet.
If you look past the hoopla of Hall H, Thursday is a damn impressive day. We here at the Realmcast (me especially) will be hitting up more of the smaller panels (because we hate waiting in line for Hall H most of the time) so do stick around there parts if you can’t attend Con this year.
