GIANT MECHS PEOPLE!!
I was out earlier this afternoon when Editor in Chief George sent me this text:

Keeping my cool, I rushed home to see this:
At first I thought it was just the suit that the pilots wore, but I looked closer, and realized: It’s the mech or Jaeger. Then my mind exploded. All the interviews that Guillermo Del Toro has been doing for this he keeps insisting that the robots will be very “realistic”. When I hear that, I’m thinking something like MechWarrior or the power suits from Avatar. Nope, he’s gone full Gundam/humanoid it looks like. And I couldn’t be happier.
This movie is going to kick all sorts of unholy ass next year, and my ass is going to be in a seat a week from today watching the Hall H presentation for this while trying not to either cry or pop a massive nerd boner.
