If you have DISH Network, you know that the company is in a dispute with AMC over fees. So AMC has been off of DISH for some time now. These kinds of contract disputes are becoming more common place as quality TV is pricey. So, like two divorcing parents brainwashing their kids, AMC hit the streets with some viral campaigning to get people on their side about the whole matter using their most popular show, The Walking Dead.
Even if I think this problem is going to get bigger and that all it’s doing is leading to more bootlegging, it’s still funny on AMC’s part.
