Kirby is turning 20,  Now I feel old.

Nintendo has announced the 20th Anniversary Kirby Collection for the Wii. The Collection has already been released in Japan and during its first week of sales, Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection managed to rack up 100,000 sales. That’s units sold, not shipped. Here in the USA the title has been changed to “Kirby’s Dream Collection” and is quite a set that every Kirby fan should own.

The Kirby Collection brings together several of the best games in the series all in one box. including Six classic Kirby games:  Kirby’s Dream Land, Kirby’s Adventure, Kirby’s Dream Land 2, Kirby Super Star, Kirby’s Dream Land 3, and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Beyond the original games, this package includes several brand-new Challenge Stages, a 45-song music CD, a 48-page anniversary booklet filled with the details of Kirby’s creation and history and interactive timeline to learn everything about Kirby and I also heard through the grapevine that some of the original Kirby the Animated show episodes may be added to the collection. At a price tag of $39.99 this is a must have for any Kirby fan.
