Get ready to reassemble
While news broke last week about Joss Whedon coming back to direct and write Avengers 2, now news broke about when the sequel will be hitting the big screen and Disney has set the date for a May 1, 2015 release. Who’s a happy camper, (points to self) this guy!
While I’m thrilled to see Whedon back into the directing chair 
I mean come on who isn’t I mean I’ll watch anything he makes…ANYTHING. With that said None are more happy and I think setting the release day for 2015 is a great choice..why? lemme tell you why I think that, First off all character development with Marvel and Disney pumping out more and more super hero films I think they have struck gold with tie ins, mentioning other heroes movies in one movie or the other. You take for example The Amazing Spider-Man, sure it was OK, but the fact that no other characters were mentioned just made it seem kind of bland, plain… I think we’ve been spoiled by The Avenger and its ability to build stand alone movies and then group all those characters into a one film, (Something i was waiting years for)
Also if you hadn’t heard NBC is in plans to adapt the Movie into a series with it the show following very closely if not a sequel of sorts to the movie and we’ve now heard elements from that will be in Avengers 2, so think of the show as a precursor for Avengers 2 So tune in.
