Even more interesting is who’ll play the good Doctor.
Thor The Dark World is getting under way in production. And like many Marvel films, Easter eggs are abound. This one though, if true, might be on the level of Hawkeye in the first Thor film.
According to ScreenRant via Roger Wardell’s Twitter, Thor The Dark World might include the introduction of Doctor Strange into the Marvel movie verse. While that’s exciting in it’s self it’s who’s apparently in talks to play Strange.

If true, I just emptied my bladder out of excitement! Mortensen is one of the new “Great” actors working today. He’s got Oscar caliber on him, and by Xenu’s fist, he’s perfect for Strange. Beauty is he’s all down for this kind of role, as he’s been most famously Aragon in Lord of the Rings.
Now it is just a “rumor” at the moment, but Roger Wardell has been pretty much spot on with his rumors in the past. So there’s possibly a lot more at play here than just fantasy casting.
