STAN LEE’S COMIKAZE EXPO announces programming

If you’re in L.A. this week, you might want to check it out.

Last year’s Comikaze Expo was perhaps one of the most pleasantly surprising conventions I’ve attended in a long time.  For a freshman show, it was quite large with a nice mixture of comic book, sci-fi and everything generally pop culture going on.  This year the show has teamed up with Stan Lee to make the show even bigger and better.

Today the 2 day line up was announced, with highlights including:

  • Jhonen Vasquez: Creator of Invader Zim
  • A Batgirl stunt show
  • Thousand Pounds Action Company
  • Doctor Who celebration
  • Max Landis!
  • Kevin Smith recording Fatman On Batman with Batman, Robin and Catwoman themselves Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar!

That’s just Saturday.

Oh, if you happened to have missed Comic Con and the Walking Dead Escape Zombie Run, you can try out Comikaze’s very own Zombie Apocalypse Escape!  You can either survive the outbreak, or embrace it and become a Zombie yourself!

Not to mention the slew of artists and additional talent, too many to list here.  But do check out Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo website for all the information you need.  Just $30 for both days.  Honestly.  If you love conventions, but hate the scene that Comic-Con has become, this is a perfect show for you.

If you do happen to attend, come find us!  We’ll be at Stan Lee’s Comikaze with our very own booth #1054 all weekend long giving out all sorts of goodies.

See ya there!
