Bayonetta 2 has been announced as a Wii U exclusive.
The first Bayonetta was about a gun toting witch with hair that can kill similar to Spawn’s cape. That being said, it isn’t much to look at if you’ve ever played Devil May Cry and, to an extent, God Of War, both great games Though it might seem like I’m trashing Bayonetta I’m actually not.
Bayonetta came out at a time that was kind of just right – not enough to get a look but enough to squeak by and say “Hey look Dante, I can do this too.”
Graphics for the first game were great and the action scenes were awesome as well, the actors could have poured more of themselves into the characters but what you got was what you got. The story is a bit strange but makes sense enough to keep you going and not bore you to death. I bought it at the price of $30 when it dropped on sale at Gamestop. I beat the game rather quickly but like I said i didn’t not enjoy it, so with the second one coming out exclusively for the Wii U I’m interested in what I’m seeing. I’ve also got to throw a quick shout out to Wii U for jumping into the M (mature) gaming content… welcome back Nintendo.
We will have more on Bayonetta 2 as we receive more information. Expect a trailer some time soon, but for now we know it is being developed by Platinum Games and they have not yet released a date for the game.
