All under the vengeful eye of Senor Spielberg
Steven Spielberg, bless you for following through with what you set out to do. About 2 years ago, he announced a SLEW of projects that included War Horse, TinTin, Lincoln and Robopocalypse. Guess what, HE’S DONE THEM ALL! Well, almost. He’s gearing up to begin filming on Robopocalypse, based on the book of the same name.
So far, he’s got Drew (Cabin in the Woods) Goddard scripting, ex Fox head hancho Tom Rothman producing, and Austrialian powerhouse Chris Hemsworth cast in the lead. As of today, you can add Nolanized Catwoman- Anne Hathaway to that powerful roster.
Hathaway will likely be the female lead in what is rumored to be a “mother protecting her kids from their toys gone rogue”. Spielberg’s adaptation looks to aim big aside from the special effects. The maestro of film is tinkering with doing something that even Chris Nolan didn’t dare dream. He aims to shoot the entire film on IMAX. It would be the first feature film to do so.
Honestly, I was sold the second the words Spielberg and robots were mentioned in the same sentence. I have full faith that this movie is going to be nothing short of spectacular.
