Award-winning creator Brom to appear at LONG BEACH COMIC & HORROR CON

First appearance at Long Beach this November 3, 2012

LONG BEACH, CA (October 17, 2012) – Continuing to build excitement for the fourth annual Long Beach Comic & Horror Con, the convention today announced that award-winning author and illustrator Gerald Brom will be a guest of the show. Best known for his work in role-playing games and graphic novels, Brom will be hosting a signing and panel at Long Beach Comic & Horror Con (LBCHC). The panel, Art of Brom, will be held in room 102C at 2 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012.

Brom first made his mark developing and illustrating for TSR’s best selling role-playing worlds, including the Dark Sun setting. He has since lent his distinctive vision to all facets of the creative industries, from novels and games, to comics and film. Most recently, Brom created a series of award-winning horror novels that he both writes and illustrates: “The Plucker”, an adult children’s book; “The Devil’s Rose”, a modern western set in Hell; “The Child Thief”, a gritty, nightmarish retelling of the Peter Pan myth, and his latest concoction, “Krampus, the Yule Lord”, a tale of revenge between Krampus and Santa set in rural West Virginia. “I am thrilled to be part of LBCC’s wonderful weekend of madness and mayhem. I am looking forward to launching my latest illustrated novel ‘Krampus, the Yule Lord’ at the show and sharing an in-depth behind the scenes interactive presentation of my artistic journey,” said Brom.

“We have very excited to have Brom join our impressive line up of guests and exhibitors.
