The Panzer Crush: CONNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

Well, its that time of year again. The sunny sea side city of San Diego will play host to the largest gathering of Nerds and Geeks this side of Lucas Ranch on Star Wars appreciation day! Over 126,000 people crammed the convention halls last year in what was the first ever sell out of the event! A tremendous achievement. Yet, for this 15 year veteran, all was not shiny in Convention land
Kicking Ass at Comic Con!

More Con news for you! It was announced today by ComingSoon.net (they’ve been busy) that the first footage from Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of Mark Millars KICK ASS will be shown at this years Comic- Con. The panel is schedule for Thursday, and if the movie is anywhere near as awesome as Vaughn’s adaptation of STARDUST, count me in a dozen time over.
As an added bounus, to wet everyone’s beaks, a new photo from the film has been released.

Comic Con reveals James Camerons AVATAR!

With the exodus to San Diego only 3 weeks away, when every red blooded geek worth his or her’s salt making the trek to Pop Culture mecca, the advertising has started to ramp up! Lining the streets of the fair city of San Diego are banners proclaiming the on coming ONSLAUGHT in a few weeks. They all have some nice little design to them, but one in particular is of great interest.

Comic Con 2009: NECA'S TMNT EXCLUSIVE

Some goodies news for those planning on attending Comic Con this year. Peter Laird announced on his blog that NECA toys, one of the PREMIER toy companies, has announced its new TMNT figure for Comic Con.
April O’Neal in a nice tight one piece (or SPEED SUIT according to Venture Bros) and comes with not 1, but 2 mousers!
We here at the REALM TOYS are huge fans of NECA’s work, and this years April figure will go nicely with last years TMNT 4 pack.
